I've tried the hydrafacial in the past and had some kind of allergic reaction to the treatment. I'm wondering what else I can try to deliver similar results that would help my sensitive acne/rosacea-prone skin before a special event this summer.
I have rosacea that makes my cheeks red and has caused a thickening of the top layer of skin on my cheeks which bothers me immensely. I have gotten 5 rounds of ellipse laser treatments. I also have surface wrinkles and oily skin. I read mixed information that you can and shouldn't use a hydrofacial when you have rosacea. What is the true answer? And what treatment may help get rid of the thickened skin?
Hello! I am looking to purchase a series of treatments. I noticed two different treatments available at my derm office. The hydrapeel and hydrafacial. I have very congested, oily, sensitive, skin with mild rosacea. I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation and mild scarring. I would like to know the difference between the two treatments and which would be the most effective for my skin issues. Thank you!
