I had a failed FUE transplant. Only one temple accepted the grafts and density 18 mo. post-op was less than we both expected. During the procedure the surgeon indicated bleeding was not excessive but was not responding to the clotting medication. Post-op we discussed this could be a factor in the failure. I have never been diagnosed with a clotting disorder and had no issues post-op. That said, how readily can this affect success and is success achievable if a bleeding disorder is present?
I unknowingly scratched my transplanted area on 29th day post operation and i had seen 2-3 very tiny blood spots and some hair shafts came out from that part but didn't see anything like a graft. Those tiny blood spots also healed completely within 2 days.
A spot appeared on my head 6 months post op in the recipient area. I placed a heated flannel to bring it out as instructed by my doctor. Whilst applying monoxidil I touched the spot; I felt no pain. Unfortunately, it bled more than expected. I stopped the bleeding and it scabbed over. The scab recently dislodged whilst combing my hair; there was no bleeding, but 4 hairs came out with the scab
I just had Hair Transplant, I'm In my 4th day now. while sleeping I think my hand rubbed some of the implanted grafts I see a small area don't have new grafts but there is no marks of scratching or bleeding. am I imagining things, or this can happen ?
Please see attached photos. I hit my head on the fridge door, 23 days after hair transplant. There was no noticeable bleeding, but theres dark redness and some swelling. Have I damaged my grafts and can this bump impact hair growth long term? Thanks for any help.
I've bad a hair transplant 6 days ago. In the following 48 hours from the procedure I was not feeling very good so I had some 600mg Ibuprofen. Then, I read it is not recommended to take Ibuprofen within the 3 days following the procedure (because of the blood thinning). Is it better to avoid this analgesic just because it may increase the bleeding (which I didn't have any problem with) or is there a risk that it can damage some follicles due to the alterations in the blood flow? Thank you.
