I just had a glycolic peel 50% performed by my dermatologist. This is my first peel and she said it was more or less a medium peel - not extremely superficial, but not as deep as they can be since it was my first time. Im 34 with a few sun spots and slight darkening on my upper lip and chin, fine lines, and acne scars on my chin. What kind of results can I expect from this peel? Obviously I dont expect everything to be cleared right away, but I would like to know what would be realistic expectations.
I had pigmentation on my upper lip and below the lower lip. My doctor did glycolic peel and my skin was inflamed and i was prescribed with mometasone furoate. Later the dead skin got peeled off but left with dark patches alk around the mouth giving an appearance like a moustache. Then i was prescribed with kojivit. I have been using this since a week but there was no change. Its really sucking me cant go out like this. Feeling very sad n awkward. Please give me any suggestion
Hi I perform a glycolic 60 percent peel once a week and nutrilize with baking soda and water. I shaved around my upper lip and sides of my mouth and the next day did a chemical peel and it burn around there it's really dry and tight and hurts when I open my mouth and is starting to crack and peel. What should I do to help this heel?
