I just had a glycolic peel 50% performed by my dermatologist. This is my first peel and she said it was more or less a medium peel - not extremely superficial, but not as deep as they can be since it was my first time. I’m 34 with a few sun spots and slight darkening on my upper lip and chin, fine lines, and acne scars on my chin. What kind of results can I expect from this peel? Obviously I don’t expect everything to be cleared right away, but I would like to know what would be realistic expectations.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your query. I advise you to meet a doctor before you could start this cream since 6 % glycolic cream may cause skin irritation. Use a sunscreen for now. Good luck.
