I'm looking for an accurate comparison of Genius RF vs Morpheus8 results. My dermatologist has both machines and I'm wondering which is better for specific issues. I'm a 50yo female and am hoping to get some overall skin smoothing (tone & texture) as well as tightening, especially around the eyes & mouth/jowl area. How does the RF strength compare between the two? Does one have more risks than the other?
I have mixed scars with some very wide boxcars on my cheeks which bother me as they easily reflect light. I recently tried subcision with hybrid laser which didnt appear to help my scarring. Will Genius RF be a good next option and how many treatments should I try?
I am considering one of these 2 treatments but I'm not entirely sure what the difference is, and which one is right for me. I am 49 with pre-jowl and neck sagging, fine lines and some deeper wrinkles around the mouth, and pore/texture issues.
I have 6 ice pick acne scars on my nose. I dont have them anywhere else on my face. I had a consultation and the Genius RF micro needling was recommended, but they dont do spot treatments. I do not want to treat my whole face. They did not offer any other options. Is it possible to get Genius spot treatment, or are there other options I should consider? Scars are ~15 years old, Im 33F East Asian. Prone to hyperpigmentation but would rather have freckles there than holes.
A year ago I had a face trauma injury and had to get 10 stitches in the ER. However it left me with a scar right between my eyes directly in the middle of my face. I received micro needling, filler, IPL and confirmed that subcision would not be a good fit because the scar is not tethered. After going to two different clinics, one informed me they recommended Morpheus8 with resurfacing and exosomes and the other recommended Genius. I know both are RF Microneedling but is there a real difference?
