Can you eat raw onions 1 or 2 days after op?

Hello and thank you for your question. Typically I advise my patients to not eat really spicy food right after a procedure. The reason is that very spicy food makes you sweat and we don't want that. That being said, I don't find onions being very spicy so it depends on your tolerance level. Best wishes.

We don't recommend spicy food after the surgery because it might cause you to get sweat and we don't want that during the first week after the surgery. However, if you don't get lots of sweat after having onions then you can eat them.
