I am worried my dermatologist was to aggressive he said the redness was normal but its been a month, i have a follow up in two weeks i am worried the marks will not go away i have not found anyone online with red marks a month after :( both the microneedling with prp and fraxel co2 laser was done in one day together.
I am 37 and very fair skinned. I have a lot of pink/red scarring from pimples I've had over the past couple of years and I have bad wrinkes under my eyes that I would like to fix. I am considering having fraxel and have been told that one session should greatly reduce the scarring and also the wrinkles- is this correct? Are there any risks? My skin is quite sensitive/delicate. Thank you!
I am 16 days post aggressive fraxel co2 laser. My forehead is still red, but that seems to be normal as far as I can tell. Bu, my right cheek has red streaks & red blotches. There is also a red mark between my eyebrows and a darker shaded area on my nose. My doctor prescribed triamcinilone acetonide ointment 0.1% and luxamed, neither of which seem to work. Do you think these lines & blotches will fade? What do you think about what he has prescribed for me? Should I be doing something else?
Fraxel three weeks ago for stretch marks on abdomen and hips. Hip ones were white and old, belly ones were purple and new. Left with disgusting, distinct red marks. Never thought these would last so long.
I got Fraxel for stretch marks just over two weeks ago on abdomen and hips. My skin is still very red where the laser was applied. Didn't experience much if any peeling, and the sandpaper feel is gone. The red marks are distinct, oddly placed, obvious rectangles all over my belly and hips where the laser was applied. The belly marks were new and purple in color while the hip ones were white. I'm worried I'm scarred for life. Nothing led me to believe the obvious redness would last so long.
It has been a week since my first fraxel restore treatment and I have had a small breakout. I was wondering if it would be okay to do a sulfur mask to try to calm it down a bit or if that would be too harsh for my skin right now. Also, is it normal for previous red marks to seem more pronounced after the treatment and will these fade?
