Had 2 treatments of Fraxel restore done on surgical scars on my legs. Now the scars are lighter than the surrounding skin. Can Latisse be applied to my scars to darken their pigmentation? Or are there any other options? I read a study about this. What are the benefits/risks? I am Caucasian with fair/medium skin.
I'm doing 4 treatments of fraxel and IPL. The first 2 treatments looked like this would be successful but spots came back even darker. 3rd treatment the same thing, spots darkened flaked off, had clear skin for a week then spots came back darker. I'm going in next week for my fourth treatment. I really don't think this is working but I don't know what to do? Spoke with the doctor who said I have low vitamin D. She perscribed me 50,000 vitamin D, 4weeks later no change to skin. Please help.
Outbreak started under my right eye and then spread all over my face. The left side was more affected than the right side of my face. I still have redness all over and now slight browning in areas. I was prescribed hydroquinone but can only use that twice a week due to iritation. Is there anything else I can do to assist in the healing? I feel like it will be at least another month, if not longer, before my face to be fully recovered. If ever. I need a second opinion. I live in Los Angele. Thank you!
After my second fraxel laser treatment, I can no longer use hydroquinone. It doesn't matter the strength. It irritates my skin so badly and it has already been a year since the laser. I've used both 1-4%, which I was able to use ( just fine) before the treatment but now I can't. My skin is darkening and I don't know what to use to lighten it. I do stay out of the sun as much as possible and I wear spf 70. Can you please recommend an alternative product or treatment?
Ive had filler under my eyes done to get rid of the hollowing/darkness but theres still a couple creases under my eye. I want to know the best way to get rid of them! I am considering the fraxel dual laser for skin tightening and smoothing out the creases.
