I think mid-face lift results look great except for one thing which holds me back from proceeding... I find that big beautiful doe eyes often lose their character... can this be avoided while still getting the mid-face improvement? (esp, removing nasolabial folds) If nasolabial folds are primary concern... could one just have that addressed w out moving cheeks up into the eye hollow space? how to go about this concern when consulting and moving forward w mid face lift , if at all .. thanks
I am in my mid 40s and have visible nasalabial folds and marionette lines. I've been to few facelift consults and ended up with conflicting opinions. Some surgeons say I won't need a facelift for 5+ years, while others say I'm a good candidate now. Do I need a facelift or can I just fix the nasalabial folds and marionette lines with either fillers or fat transfer? Is adding fat to the lower face a bad idea because there will be more volume to sag in the future?
33M I've lost about 150lbs in about 18 months through diet and exercise. I now have very pronounced nasolabial folds. Is there any options other than a surgical facelift that could effectively improve their appearance? Any laser therapy or micro needling etc? I'm still currently losing weight and am working towards losing another 40-50lbs.
Hi, I am 23 and have deep nasolabial folds. I didn't have any when I was 18, and it seems like over the past 5 years, my cheek muscle/fat pad has descended and pooled around my nasolabial region. I have a malocclusion (slight overbite and slight lip incompetence), but when I spoke to a jaw surgeon, he said jaw surgery wouldn't help my nasolabial folds. I am really distressed by my nasolabial folds and hate being in lightings where they are obvious. Am I a candidate for midface lift?
Hi, these shadows/laxity around my cheek-nose junction have bothered me since puberty. I have had two mini midface SMAS facelifts, nasolabial filler, a fat graft to the area, and a dissolvable barbed threadlift, but nothing so far has smoothed them. Is there any surgery, or technique that can specifically address this and completely smooth out the area?
I am 20 years old, but i already have prominent eyebags and nasolabial folds. I'm looking for a permanent solution, so I am NOT interested in getting fillers or facials. I know there are less intense options such as the mini facelift, but I really like the look of a ponytail facelift, I feel like it changes the entire face in a way other procedures can't. Am I eligble for a ponytail facelift at my age? Are there any side effects getting it at 20 other than potentially worse scarring?
I am a 27 year old female with very saggy skin and severe nasolabial folds. I have never been overweight. I have worn SPF 50 sunscreen daily since 19 and use been using tretinoin and a moisturizer every night for a few years. I don't drink or smoke, am active, and I eat a plant-based diet, but I have eaten sugary foods in the past, so I assume that is the cause. Could I be a good candidate for a facelift or midface lift? I've had a lip lift 6 months ago + revision 3 months ago for my very long philtrum (since childhood).
I had jaw surgery to correct an underbite 3 years ago but I developed severe nasolabial folds. I am early 30s and this is affecting my mental health. I tried a facial fat transfer a year ago but it seems to have made them worse.
I've included more pics this time, as requested, and adjusted my question. My left side of my face looks like I'm in my 50s and my right side like I'm in my 40s. When I pull slightly at my temple on the left, it shaves off 10 yrs. I would rather not mess with a side that doesn't need it, since undermining tissues can cause fat loss and I have a lot of volume still, which I don't want to lose. Is it reasonable in my case to do a 1 sided FL?
