Hi, I am 4 days post upper eyelid ptosis surgery on my left eye. The swelling and bruising is gradually reducing but I can see my left eye is still droopy. Is this normal? and is this mainly due to swelling? Will my eyes open up and be symmetrical to the other side once the swelling has gone?...I'm worried. Appreciate your thoughts
The top of it is bulged out and is not adhered to the other side of the lid. Also a small opening at the outside end of incision. I am concerned that it is going to stay open leaving a pouch. The left eye is practically healed.
My eyelid suture came open on right eye. It was glued and taped and I was given ointment. Is this something that happens a lot? I was told it would heal fine. Sutures were in for 5 days. Left eye is fine. I am 9 days post.
Did my double eyelid on 20/04/15. I went back to remove the stitch 4 day after the surgery. The wound open, the doctor advisor me not to lid up let it heal. Been 1 week after the stitch remove, the wound had heal. I lid up my eyelid, it seen to be like hypertrophic or possible keloid to me. I email the doctor who did the surgery,he advisor me to keep rubbing over the wound & the scar will get better. My eyelid becomes natural or I might need steroid injection after a few months if it's still.
Hello, I have made upper lids blepharoplasty. The inside stitch was done with dissolving threads and outside with non dissolving, which were removed after 4 days. After 10 days the inner dissolving threads appeared in two places of a slightly opened scar and were partly removed by doctor.I have noticed that the threads were clearly showing up in other places too like small bumps. The doctor assured that they will be gone after month or so.Shall I wait or insist to remove them? Thank you.
