I had an upper blepharoplasty 9 months ago, Im not seeing much difference from how my eyes looked before the procedure. My surgeon has offered to do a revision and take more skin from the outer edges of both my eyelids. Will this give a more defined crease and make my eyelids look smoother, I am also concerned about my eye shape being changed after the revision.
My skin breaks out easily and there was a one month period that I had two huge styes on the same eye lower and upper eyelid that swelled super huge, both are gone now, but the upper eyelid stye left my eyelid looking funny. I'm 19, so my skin should go back to normal? And it's been like this for three ish months.
My eyelid scar is above my natural crease and moreso on the left eye where now there is a fold between crease and scar. Does it appear I have enough skin to move scar into crease area without causing too much skin removed?
Please see the attached picture. I have a ridiculous amount of upper eyelid exposure and the crease is not symmetrical. 1) Is it possible to bring my crease down and reduce the upper eyelid exposure via surgery? 2) Do I have ptosis? 3) Do I have what's called an innie eyelid? 4) Is lateral canthoplasty an option for me if I want to elongate my eyes? What procedures would you recommend? My goal is elongated eyes, bring crease down
I'm an 18 year old female. My left eyelid has a lower crease position than my right eyelid. This results in my left eye having less upper eyelid exposure compared to my right eye. My left eye also forms a little roll when I smile but my right eye does not. Can these asymmetries be fixed?
I posted about the deep creases underneath my eyes last year and got a lot of thoughtful responses. However, I wasn't clear that I don't want a surgical option at this point. (I had an upper and lower bleph in 2019). So my question remains What can I do with these deep creases under my eyes (especially noticeable when I smile?) I'm including some more pictures, including my face at rest. I would also add that I am a teacher so money is a big consideration. Thanks in advance for your help!
I have had blepharoplasty in January. The result is very depressing. I can't close my left eye. During nights my eye is open and I need to tape and protect. Beside this, I suffer from Hollow-Eyes as too much fat has been removed, and no lid creases . Please, is there any help? Can it only be fixed by skin graft? And how would that work? My face lost its naturality. and I can't sleep. Thank you for help
I had the surgery about 8 months ago (or more), and there is some creasing around my eyelids when I smile. I'm curious as to whether this is normal? It bothers me. The doctor administered Botox yesterday, and said this would help, and also suggested an eyebrow lift. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello. After upper and lower eyelid surgery, my eyes became different sizes. The cuts were uneven to begin with and I feel that there is more skin under the crease of the eye which is small. Can I make the eye look bigger again by lowering the crease and removing more skin underneath so it doesn't cover the eye as much? The pictures are from a video where I move my eyes the same way.
