Hi there on August 19th I underwent a eyebrow transplant in Canada with a world renown hair transplant physician. I would estimate that approximately 50% of the transplanted hairs did not shed. They continued to grow for about 3 threes following the surgery however they have seem to stopped growing all together. I am very concerned as these transplanted hairs are thick and very difficult to tame. When I contacted patient advisory they said this was normal. I just would like some reassurance
The area on the inner corners of my eyebrows have remained red and raised, and I'm concerned that this might be permanent like cobblestoning. I have asked my surgeon by sending these photos, and was told it was just skin irritation, but it's lasted for 2 months and still hasn't gone away. I've tried using hydrocortisone cream and antibiotics, but nothing has worked.Could anyone please tell me what they think this could be and how to treat it??
Does the skin where eyebrow transplants have been placed ever go back to how it looked before. Its been 7 weeks and the transplanted hairs have shed as expected, but now I have redness where the micro incisions were and pitting I don't have any pimples but the skin is not smooth like it was before. I am very concerned, will it ever look how it did before or is this permanent scarring?
I had my eyebrow transplant about 40 days ago, I've been battling dry flaky skin in the recipient area and even around the recipient area. Is like dry crusty flaky skin. Is this normal at 40 days, will it affect my hair growth? I don't understand why the dry flakes are forming even outside the recipient area. Also, can I pick at the dry skin? Thank you so much
Hi, I am now 7 weeks post op, grafts have shed, redness has subsided, but what I am left with is very obvious, horrible pitting and scarring in receipient area. How long does this normally last? I have followed up with my surgeon who is avoiding the question, I was not informed that I my skin would be in such a horrible state after nearly two months, how much longer I have to cope with this? Knowing I am not entirely happy with the shape and would like to reshape once healed.... Thanks
