Eyebrow transplant - Dry flaky skin even at 40 days after the surgery? (photos)

I had my eyebrow transplant about 40 days ago, I've been battling dry flaky skin in the recipient area and even around the recipient area. Is like dry crusty flaky skin. Is this normal at 40 days, will it affect my hair growth? I don't understand why the dry flakes are forming even outside the recipient area. Also, can I pick at the dry skin? Thank you so much

Maybe it is normal.  Maybe it is not.  You need to visit your doctor for an exam.  Everyone heals differently and have individual issues.  Only your doctor can give you a proper exam and a possible treatment plan.  Photos and few sentence discriptions are good for guess work and generalization which may lead to confusion and delay in treatment.

You might consider using a conditioner with the shampoo to address the drug flaky skin or see your surgeon and ask him/her

If the transplanted hair is from your donor zone in the back of your head, you need to have it checked to see if your donor area has dandruff or scaly skin.  If dryness or dandruff exists in theses areas, you will have it at your eyebrow as well.  You must see your dermatologist to find the cause and treat it appropriately .
