I am 23 years old and have been wanting a hair transplant since I was 15 years old. I have always had a noticeablymature hairline and big forehead.I know many doctors advise against getting a transplant and tell you to take finasteride and minoxidil before. In my case, I don't believe that applies to me because I didn't have a lot of hair in the hairline/forehead region to begin with. I'll attach some of my photos from when I was 14-15 years old and some current ones now.
Hello, I had my hair transplant last year. So I always had the problem that my scalp was very itchy. I very much tried not to scratch my scalp and it succeeded for about a month. But after a month I noticed that I started to scratch my head again in the night. I also noticed a few times that I had small pimples that bleeded. Could that be grafts that I lost or were they just pimples? How bad is it to scratch your head after one month?
8 months ago I had a dhi hair transplant. After a month of my HT I was wearing a cap and my brother teased me and hit my hat of my head. I felt that some hairs pulled out. After 8 months I feel like I have some empty spots on my head. Could be because of that accident? Can damage happen after 1 month?
Hey, 7 months ago I had a hair transplant. I noticed after 3 weeks from the day of the surgery that hills start to form in the skin, and redness in the transplanted area and I started to worry that I was starting to develop scars. Month after, I went to consult a dermatologist and he told me that no scars will be formed and that it is an inflammatory reaction, contact dermatitis and a demarcated erythematous plaque. Do you think it's ridging? Is dermatologist enough to diagnose this thing?
Hello, I had a DHI hair transplant exactly 6 months ago. A total of 4,000 grafts were transplanted: 2,000 in the temples and 2,000 in the crown area. My question is: As seen in the pictures, even though it has been exactly 6 months, the growth in the frontal area is very weak, and in the crown area, only the hair that was present before the transplant has grown. It is generally said to wait at least 8 months for hair transplant results, but do you think this situation is normal? Thank you.
