I have a semi-permanent dental crowned attached to my upper jaw ( It's only glued or cemented to the front 2 tooth now the rest all is loose) I would like to remove it asap as food is getting stuck in the no longer glued down parts and it has created an extremely fowl smell . Mouth wash helps but it's still very uncomfortable.
I got my dental implant uncovered and a temporary crown out on it about two weeks ago. Ever since I got it uncovered and the crown placed there is an odor all around the crown. There is no pain. I'm just wondering if the smell will go away? Is the smell present becuase it is healing or has something been done wrong? What can I do to get rid of the smell as soon as possible. Thanks!
Foul, metallic taste that is very unpleasant and certainly causing halitosis. I have other crowns, but this is my only e-max crown. I've had no problems with my other crowns. Bite wing and a periapical x-ray show no problems, and the crown margin is sealed. The dentist who placed the crown is a superb dentist. What can be done to eliminate this terrible taste and smell?
I went for a dental checkup and the doctor concluded that I had gingivitis, and around my dental crown, my top left molar, I had a pocket of 5 mm, with bone loss around a half a mm to a mm. There is a foul smell around my crown, and the dentist gave me some kind of medicine under my gums to heal them. I had another dentist look at my crown and he said that it was completely solid, with no signs of decay or the cement being loosened, or no points of entry, so he ruled out the crown as being the smell.
I've been dealing w/ chronic halitosis for 2 years and, for the life of me, I couldnt figure out what was causing it as I brush my teeth 3-4 times a day (I am an invisalign wearer now). Recently got 4 cavities fixed but my two 3rd molars up top stink when i touch and smell and parts of them are brown. This feels like a social suicide and I wanna know would a root canal fix this or crown?
It's been a week now when I floss under the gum line of my crown there is a foul smell on the floss The gum isn't tender, sore, no ozzing or pain when chewing. Just foul smell upon flossing. What is the cause? Does the crown need replacing? I've been flossing more thoroughly for a few days but it doesn't seem to have made any difference
I had the replacement of ( upper whole set )teeth with (metal ) cosmetic 5years ago. Now,I hv very minimal leakage from gums where it is attached and when i rub them , it smells like feaces. I brush my teeth 3 /4 times a day with flush as well. The smell doesnt go even after brushing. I have the bad breathe but barely notoceable by other people. The metallic taste is always there. And sometime, my gums are very itchiy. Is it because there is an infection ? But i hvnt got any pain.
