Hello I had a DPL a little bit over one year ago. Shortly after my surgery, I had lymphatic massage on my face and during that I heard squeaking on one side of my face. I asked the provider to stop what she did. Roughly 5 days later, I ended up with a fluid pocket where the internal stitches were, and had it drained twice. My problem is the location that bothers me most with laxity is back to where it was. Could my internal stitches have been pulled? My surgeon think that these are periol mounds
I had a facelift and neck lift with Lipo six months ago. Right after my right side, got a huge bump behind the ear in which he drained. It kept getting swollen so he drained it a couple of more times and then he said we shall leave it alone. Now it looks very wrinkly and red and when I touch it, it feels lumpy so I am wondering what happened here or why did this happen and Will it get better on its own?
Female 63 years old 130 lbs White Deep plane facelift 9 months ago. Im pretty happy with my upper face, but disappointed that I still have jowls. Is my expectation unrealistic? Im reposting my question with 2 additional profile view photos. Thank you
Im 63 and had a deep plane lower facelift/necklift 4 mo ago. The sides of my cheeks remain lumpy, not superficial swelling, but in tissue underneath. One of my jowls is not improved but the other is fine. I followed all doctor advice, including pressure wraps for 7 wks and sleeping upright for 4 wks as well as numerous lymphatic facial massages. My doc is not concerned. In your experience, can I expect the lumps to flatten this long after surgery and will my jowling become any more improved?
six months after the plane facelift, one side of the face has more laxity than the other. Can this be easily fixed? Will the recovery take as much time as the previous surgery and how big will be scar for this fix?
Hello and thank you in advance. I had Deep plane/ neck lift and CO2 in January 2023. Both issues with face and neck returned. The Co2 caused damage. Big pores, loss of elasticity and lines across my face. Surgery start time was 8:37 and ended at 10:22. That is a total of 1hr and 46min. Take 30 off for Co2 and he spent 1hr and 16 min on my deep plane and neck lift. Is it possible to do this properly in that amount of time? My face and neck are saying no.
Hi, I had a deep plane facelift 6 months ago and had hoped that the pulling effect across my cheekbones would disappear, but it continue to be present. When I smile, the pulling causes a downward direction ripple effect (ie the skin doesn't sit flat) and the apple of my cheeks seem to sit quite low. I've considered filler, but am not sure it would help because it feels quite taut across my cheekbones and I can't help feeling that it would flatten any filler anyway.
I had a deep plane facelift about 6 months ago. 2 months after the procedure during a follow up I let the Dr know I was feeling something under my skin that was causing inflammation and he told me he had used permanent sutures. I was surprised since I told him several times that I had several autoimmune issues. He became very irritated by this discussion and it doesnt seem like theres much I can do about it now. My question is, is there actually anything I can do about this? Can it be removed?
