I hear good things and bad things about both lasers. Which one is better for large pores? How about wrinkles? Also, can a doctor out there please suggest a good setting for the pores and a good setting for the wrinkles. I hope that by doing 3 lite treatments it would cut down on the possibility of problems. Is it better to do one deeper treatment?
Im of Mediterranean descent, looking to improve a facial surgical scar. Already completed subcision/filler and dermabrasion . Saw improvement however scar is still not where Id like it to be. Im realistic, I understand that nothing can completely remove the scar, but hoping for more improvement. Thank you in advance for all of your help!
I was not aware that the CO2 shrank collagen and made our skin flat. I did my setting on a 6 because it hurt so bad and I think it went in my favor. My dr assured me I wouldn't lose volume and my cheeks and lips are thin and everything feels different like drinking from a bottle, talking, and brushing my teeth. Will the shrunken collagen come back? Will I ruin my face if I take collagen and tablets in the meantime?
Laser used on my procedure CO2 FRAXEL REPAIR, I think by Reliant Technologies. Spot size used with large tip: Energy level 70mj, Treatment level 12, 4 passes, with a Total 5.13kj . Another part of my face was treated with small tip: Energy level 70mj, Treatment level 12 with 4 passes, Total 0.23kj. Another section treated: small tip at 40mj, Level 8 with 4 passes, Total 0.76. Are these strong settings? I'm 6 weeks post-op & I still have micro needle points all over my face. Will they close?
I had a laser treatment done on my entire face in January this year with the Veris CO2 Laser. The nurse used a higher setting on my cheeks which resulted in grid-marks/squares that have become etched into my skin. What I was wondering was how these lasers work: how deeply do they penetrate the epidermis/dermis, and what other treatments (such as dermabrasion, deep chemical peels, micro-needling, radio frequency, or other lasers) can help with smoothing out this laser damage at such a deep level?
I received my medical record and this was the settings: First pass done with 30 watts, 400 dwell time and 500 microseconds of spacing. The face was then feathered with a drop in dwell time to 200 microseconds. Bacitracin ointment was then applied diffusely. Is this the correct setting for a full CO2 ablative laser?
