Hello, I have started doing Vbeam Perfecta to help reduce redness and hyperpigmentation on my face, with only one treatment so far. This is due to past cystic acne that has been healed for about 4 years and type 2 rosacea. I am also a oily skinned person with texture and large pores. Can I get CO2 Lasering done in addition to the Vbeam, within the same week? Will the CO2 laser be likely to increase redness, after the 5-6 week healing process? Any tips or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you
Thank you for your reply about my sebaceous bulbous nose. Possibly Rhinophyma? However, my nose is not distorted (yet); it only seems to have a growing bulb, which is extremely oily (within minutes of washing). Can this still be considered Rhinophyma? Could it be sebaceous hyperplasia or something else? Incidently, last year a plastic surgeon took approximately 2 minutes touching my nose and said the problem was not in my cartilage, but in the flesh. So, in lieu of the fact that the oil bothers be more than the size, is there anything that can solve both? Still wire loop cautery and CO2 laser?
these scars were once pimples I popped as a teen of course Ive done multiple picosure sessions, another resurfacing laser (2x) and have had 4 microneedling sessions.. it has improved in appearance but I want them gone, would I be a candidate for ablative? Saw ablative remove papules from Asian patient. Ive spent a lot and would just love to spend on what will be best. Thanks, I have oily skin btw.
Hi, I am 21 years old. When I was a teenager I suffered from acne. Due to this I started using harsh cleansers which got my skin super oily. Now I am left with super oily skin and enlarged pores on my nose and cheeks. I get blackheads often especially on my nose and lately also getting acne on my face. My nose is now left with these huge pores left by big blackheads and acne. Also have enlarged pores on cheeks. How do I treat these scars? Heard about CO2 laser and TCA cross. Please help. Thanks
Hi I had a CO2 laser treatment for my scars in January of 2018. Before I went into the co2 laser treatment I was not particularly oily, but after the treatment I was extremely oily, and I have been since then, and today its October. I have tested alot to combat the oily skin, nothing rly works. I do not have any other side effects from the laser, and im happy with my results. It gets really greasy after only 2-3 hours. Do you have any advice, or any explanation of why it could be like this?
Hello. My skin is very oily and I am forming blackheads once again while also having a few pimples. I've read that Isotretinoin is interfering with collagen production after co2 laser treatments. Is it ok if I start on a low dosage Isotretinoin at this time or do I have to wait a bit longer?
