Can Vbeam and CO2 Laser treatments be performed in the same week?

Hello, I have started doing Vbeam Perfecta to help reduce redness and hyperpigmentation on my face, with only one treatment so far. This is due to past cystic acne that has been healed for about 4 years and type 2 rosacea. I am also a oily skinned person with texture and large pores. Can I get CO2 Lasering done in addition to the Vbeam, within the same week? Will the CO2 laser be likely to increase redness, after the 5-6 week healing process? Any tips or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser.  Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

You can definitely have both treatments in the same week but it depends on what you are trying to achieve and the settings of each. CO2 is designed to address skin tone and texture as well as fine lines/wrinkles. VBeam is focused on redness. Depending on your goals you may want to set out a program that incorporates both. For instance I will perform CO2 laser on a patient for pigment and fine lines and then use the vascular laser to treat nasal blood vessels at the same time.
