I have numerous problems due to co2 albative procedure from 4 years ago. Most distressing are the pock marks, acne like depressions, poor skin laxity, dull, waxy complexion, hypopigmentation as well as hyperpigmention. I am considering PRP but want to know potential side effects. I am super sensitive to many treatments now, masks, peels are especially problematic. I only had mild lines around my mouth prior to co 2 treatment and hardly noticeable.
I am fair skinned, 5'4 and 120 lbs. I bruise easily but have healed at a normal pace to any cuts and surgeries. Three months ago I had ablative CO2 laser surgery under my eyes only. I agreed to a light resurfacing, nothing aggressive, but still ablative. The surgeon assured me that's what he will do. After the resurfacing, it was evident the procedure was too aggressive, as I had holes in my skin around my eyes. It took a full 2 weeks for the skin surface to begin to look even.
i had fractional co2 laser 3 times it wasnt very aggresive but i saw some improvement in my little icepick scars.dr treated deep scars with spot treatment also dr spot treated my skin where no scars.. now my skin has pink indented shiny spots. and also my scars become red dark after spot treatment i am dark skinned when my skin color will turn to normal or laser demaged my skin can you suggest any treatment to treat this situation please discribe co2 laser healing stages for dark skinned patient
I'm thinking about having CO2 fractional laser treatments done to lighten my dark circles and eyelids. My concern is that would the light from the laser be able to penetrate the eyelid skin and cause damage to my eyes? Thanks in advance
Hello, I am really wanting to fix my enlarged pores/oily skin. I am considering getting CO2 Fraxel Laser procedure, could this procedure help with damaged/large pores and dark sebaceous filaments? Thank you
I had fully ablative Co2 laser a year ago for acne scars. It made zero difference on the scars. However, I can see a loss of facial fat. I look older and generally worse than before I had the procedure. Is there anything I can do to restore facial fat without being pumped full of filler. I'm seriously considering a mini face lift at 31 years old. Reguardless, now I'll pay more than anticipated becasue of the surgeon making my face worse.
Unfortunately, I made a mistake and allowed a Dr to damage me There were several scar issues 1 was an indented scar I am going to get treated with filler and/ possibly subcision/ prp with a different Dr of course -Unfortunately Dr Carniol co2 lasered something we never discussed instead of what we did ( ie the reddish area below that ) and made a barely visible scar into a very visible hypopigmented area Is there anything I can do to fix what he did to me ? No co2 lasers please
I had a few chemical peels 20 years ago which went well. I am looking to get CO2 laser resurfacing next year with the Lumenis Ultrapulse for acne scars, lines and a better tone. However the last year or two my face tingles and feels sensitive and I seem to have aged all of a sudden. I have been using salysic acid, tea tree oil, vitamin c and retinol. Unknown to me I may have damaged my ph level. Can I still get CO2 laser in the future? Can I do anything over the next year to prepare my skin?
I was severely damaged from IPL over 5 months ago. It has truly destroyed my life. It's not just bad texture. It's made me look truly sickly. No elasticity in my face, sagging skin, zig zag lines, diagonal lines all over my face. It stimulated hair growth and messed up my hair follicles. I now have all the signs of hidradenitis that has progressed very quickly. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get my life back. Please help!
I am 21 years old. My skin is damaged because of extended use of topical steroids for eczema and rosacea. After stopping the cream I now have steroid induced acne, fine lines, large pores and thinned skin. My doctor has prescribed doxycycline and antihistamines to calm the acne down. He then wants to move forward with laser resurfacing or microneedling. Is this a good idea? Will it further thin my skin or will my skin be able to regenerate itself since I am young? Thank you doctors.
