Dear experts, I have fair complexion, prone to acne. I had a fractional co2 treatment in December of 2019. Since then, nothing can touch my skin without it breaking out. Can you please give an explanation or tell me if I will be like this forever?
I have an office job it will be day 9 when I go back to work and face is red. The aquaphor was breaking me out I have oily skin so I changed to vaniply ointment and it feels so much better. I did press on the breakout with washcloth and immediately started bleeding I hope I didn't screw up and going to scar. The doctor used Alma co2 laser level 80 is that a good level? My mom got level & she is so red almost purple. She is now on oral steroid & using vaniply is there anything else to help her?
Hi! This is what happened after CO2 laser CO2 laser - Im at 22 days after CO2 laser and there is a lot breakouts on my face, is that normal? Is it because of non proper after care or something? My doc didnt tell me to do something after laser treatment!
I'm scheduled for a CO2 Fractional Laser treatment just on the perioral area. I have a history of cold sores when I was a teenager ( I am 55 now) I realize I am susceptible to cold sores after the procedure but I am concerned about future outbreaks even after taking the medication during my recovery. I would appreciate any advise, Thank you!
My Dr. Told me to use aquaphor on the new skin, which I did for a week and it caused breakouts and my face is healing very slowly. Can the aquaphor, an emollient be a bad idea to apply to the new fresh skin?
I am 6 weeks post co2 laser and I'm very red with hyperpigmentation. I also have lots of breakouts, big pimples.I've been advised to use hydroquinone and retina a but I'm really afraid to put anything on my skin. And I feel like I have even more lines. He said he went deep but I never peeled or scabbed. I used aquaphor for 2 weeks per the doctor.
I get a CO2 laser done yearly and am told to use Vaseline / Aquaphor / Elta Md's Salve which seems too occlusive for my sensitive acne skin (clogging pores & I have breakouts) even on antibiotics. Can I use hydrogel in a tube which hospitals recommend to burn patients, those with ulcers, wounds etc? Any brands you recommend?
