I've been using Murad Retinol Cream in my morning routine, (it includes the Sunday Riley Good Genes chemical peel and Kiehl's ascorbic acid serum). Skin looks better, it's been feeling a bit sensitive and dry lately, especially around my cheeks. I'm wondering if this is normal when using these products together, or if there might be something else going on. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? I want to keep using these products because they seem to be working, but I don't want my skin to get irritated.
I just did my second Soonsu shining peel which I do weekly and plan on doing for 5-6 weeks. I would like to introduce Vitamin C and retinol serum (which I used to do before the peels morning for the Vit C and night for the retinol. What do you suggest?
My skin barrier is compromised after years of microneedling and poor aftercare (smoking), along with Retinol use. I've always had oily skin but now it's both extremely dry after washing (even using gentle face washes) but producing oil at a ridiculous rate, causing breakouts, inflammation etc. My question is, I'd like to undergo treatments (a medium peel or Infini RF) to help some of the scarring, pigmentation and general texture issues - is this a bad idea on a damaged moisture barrier?
The peel did seem to even out my skin tone but now I've got a large red circle area. What can I do to remove the redness? I have been putting Cortison 1% and aloe vera but is there something better?
Hi I am using Sunday Riley good genes chemical peel in the morning. After thats dry I use Clarin cc cream with SPF 40. At night I use khiels ascotbic avid serum moisturiser. Is it correct regimen and also is it safe to use Murad Retinol cream at night after the Khiels serum? Thanks
I've been using retinol overnight for large pores and blackheads, but I have a burn mark in the area that hasn't entirely faded from a failed DIY chemical peel a year ago. I wash once daily with Cetaphil. Photos are attached showing the skin and discoloration. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've suffered horrible psychological effects from acne and scars for nearly a decade.. I do intend to see a professional within the next few months. I'm willing to spend thousands for a procedure.

I had a vitalize peel (citric, lactic and salicylic acid, retinol layer) done 5 days ago, Been using a mild soap and moisturizer at night. On day 3 my skin started to peel and next day I found hundreds of tiny little dots all over my skin, they are not painful or red or itchy but It makes the skin feel very rough. can this be an allergic reaction? I had to use makeup the second day for a few hours, could this have contributed? currently not applying anything, will thay eventually go?
