whenever i am bitten by mosquitoes, i would get a red bump which will later turn into a sore. after that sore is heal it would leave a very dark spot. i have a lot of them now and fell very uncomfortable wearing certain type of clothing that will expose them. my dermatologist suggested skin peeling so i would like to know if it will remove them. thanks for your advice.
I suffered from mild acne, it was not severe by any means, but it did leave me with some red spots and although my skin is healthy and I look after it, it can have an affect on my complexion and how makeup applies. I am considering laser treatment down the track to help with the small ice pick scars and the red spots that are left over and overall just my skin in general, but in the mean time, would I benefit from a chemical peel? Should I consult my doctor for a skin lightening cream?
I had have done feeling few a times never face these red spots this time when I did a chemical peel I got this issue. Also on my forehead and chin, peel doesn't take place dead skin is still there because of this my forehead is completely looking different, it is looking dull coz no peeling had happened. Please tell what to do
The other night I believe that I accidentally burned my skin! I was using Epiduo in the morning then I did a AHA peel in the night and the areas affected, where I had a slight break out, were inflamed and looked like they were blistered. After I washed the peel off I was left with really red inflames areas. It's the next day now and I'm left with dark red/brownish spots on my chin! What can I do to lessen the redness and how long will it take to clear up?
I just started using facial chemical peels and while my face looks fabulous I am breaking out in red spots all over my back and upper arms and they don't really feel like zits. Is it possible somehow that the chemical peels, whilst leaving my face untouched, are the cause of the red spots eruption on my body? Thanls
I did a 40% glycolic peel, left on for 4 minutes and neutralized on Saturday night. I had frosting immediately after in one spot on my chin. Now that spot has turned into a really dry, red spot.
I had a light chemical peel done 5 days ago for light acne and acne marks. I still have some peeling but the peeling and dryness are significantly reduced. But there are times when certain areas of my face get really itchy and develop into small raised red bumps like whiteheads/mosquito bite. I try my best not to itch them and notice that they shrink in size after 2 to 3 days. Am I having an allergic reaction? Are these whiteheads from my acne? Or are they simply due to irritation from the peel?
I had a chemical peel (Jessner with 25% TCA) on my neck and chest a week ago. It completely peeled but left two very red and sensitive spots on each side of my neck. Even though I have continued to keep the skin moisturized the red spots are crusting again. Is this normal for skin to peel twice in one session?
