Help, nearly 20 & face drastically changed in the matter of a month, is there a natural solution? (Photos)

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

More than anything treating your acne would give you the best improvement. Acne treatments vary widely and I'd suggest seeing a board certified dermatologist.

At least from the photos provided, there appears to be residual active acne, as well as post-inflammatory pigmentary changes. While benzoyl peroxide is generally considered an effective anti-acne medication, use of too strong of a preparation, too frequent use, improper combination with over washing, harsh soaps and cleansers, or overuse or overly aggressive use of Buf-Pufs or Loofahs, etc. all can contribute to the development of uncomfortable dryness, dullness, irritation, redness, etc. With proper treatment, however, all of the aforementioned can be fairly easily treated without any lasting damage. The active acne should be properly addressed, as well, to prevent permanent acne scarring or long-term skin dyspigmentation issues. You would be wise to seek consultation with a board certified dermatologist who can help you with all these issues. So, relax, do what needs to be done, and best of luck.
