I am 23 years old, 6 feet and 175lbs. I excercise frequently but my face doesnt seem to reflect that. I got masseter botox about 2 months ago and made my BFR apt at the same time. My BFR date is comming up but I'm hesitant now because I really like the results from my masseter botox. My face looks much slimmer than before. Wondering if BFR would further enhance these results or if I should just stick with Masseter Botox and hope my Buccal fat diminishes with age?
I understand buccal fat does not respond to diet and exercise. Does the rest of the fat in the face, specifically the lower 1/3 of the cheek near the corners of the mouth respond well to weight loss? I always thought the buccal fat herniated into this area and if you removed the buccal fat, you would see a difference in the lower 1/3 as well. For me, the buccal fat effect is much higher up near my upper molars. In the picture, how can I best address that bulge by the corner of the mouth?
I've had a full roundish face my whole life because of my chubby cheeks and they also give the appearance of having a flat profile because it is mostly concentrated on the front portion of my jaw and cheeks. I'm 19 and have about 18% body fat so i doubt my fullness will diminish much with diet and exercise. I wanted to know if i would be a good candidate for buccal fat pad removal or if there are other options to achieve a more defined and heart shaped face.
Hello I'm 18 years old. I've been noticing that my face has been looking bloated & well fat recently. I'm about 5'10 150 pounds so it's strange to me. I've read articles about changing my diet and excersing etc. but I'm weighing in my options. I came across this procedure but I'm curious to know if I'm the type that would be satisfied from this procedure. I'm in no rush or anything and I'm not very self conscious about it. Let me know what you think thanks!
Im 26 yrs old asian female, no matter what kind of exercise or diet i do i still cant lose my chubby cheeks.. i got it from my father and my aunts and cousins on father side has similar facial shape. I have seen a surgeon last week for sclerotherapy and when he saw me he suggested right away buccal fat removal i just wanna get other feedback from my photos coz i dont wanna have a very hollow cheeks coz i dont wanna look old too. Thanks
Exercise is a big part of my life and I am scheduled for buccal fat removal. There seems to be some variability in the duration of time that surgeons suggest to abstain from exercise post-op (1-4 weeks). Might milder exercise be permissible in the initial stages? What are likely risks of continuing to exercise?
