I understand buccal fat does not respond to diet and exercise. Does the rest of the fat in the face, specifically the lower 1/3 of the cheek near the corners of the mouth respond well to weight loss? I always thought the buccal fat herniated into this area and if you removed the buccal fat, you would see a difference in the lower 1/3 as well. For me, the buccal fat "effect" is much higher up near my upper molars. In the picture, how can I best address that "bulge" by the corner of the mouth?
