I am 20 years of age. I have had Bell's palsy ever since I was 1.5 years old so I have been dealing with this for 19 years. My left brow is paralysed and is also droopy. I have tried all sorts of botox in my brows for the past 5 years to lift it as much as possible as I do not like the placement and it does not move. The NHS doctor said he does not want to lift it as he will have to lift both brows and will not do the unaffected brow. What can I do going forward? Am I a suitable candidate?
4 months ago, had an incision closed with internal sutures and glue which healed indented, surgery made under general anesthesia. After surgery, i was unable to raise my eyebrows. Right side had improved a bit, left side showed no improvements so far. What could be the case? + what could be made to help with the indentation?
Hi there Ever since I was a baby, I had one lower brow.. with age + Botox treatment, that brow muscle is weaker than ever. I feel almost paralyzed on the right side Can someone give me any tips on what direction I should go I was told I was too young for a full brow lift (Im 34)
One year ago, I got an endoscopic brow lift. Now I'm suffering 1.eyebrows whose heads don't grow back fully, even if I trim them 2.large forehead 3. No hair on scars 4. My right eyebrow doesn't really move 5. Shocked look with the tail sagging badly. Do you think getting another procedure done in order to get the forehead & tails fixed would worsen the paralysis, etc? The photo is from the first 6 months. The tails have sagged and without pencil, it's sort of bald and thin. Thanks in advance!
I was thinking in having a brow lift and forehead reduction but I'm scared if I do I won't be able to make expressions or movements like before the surgery? An example like the confuse expression. And will you have frown lines because I still want frown lines if I make the surprise face for an example . And I'm 18 my eyebrows are so low that's under my brow bone . I just want my brow to be where my brow bone is. I have low eyebrow due to my dad side of the family and long forehead.
13 months after coronal brow-lift there is NO movement of left eyebrow at inner corner near nose. Outer eyebrow moves some and makes wrinkles. Looks horrible as left eyebrow is 1" lower than right brow. I am sorry I do not think it will come back.Sorry I ever had it done. I will go ANYWHERE to get the BEST doctor for repair. I cannot stand looking this bad anymore. There were complications from the beginning and this has been a nightmare! What are my options? Who is BEST in US for this repair?
One eyebrow is at least 1" inch lower than other now. Gives a "sinister" look.Botox on non-paralyzed side, but doesn't last. Slight movement in outer edge of eyebrow in last month caused "wrinkles" in skin above brow.Is slight movement any sign it will eventually return? Afraid nerve was cut by braided suture failure(doctor said this might have happened)as a slight" skin dent" at place suture was attached. Want NO more surgery. Wish I had NEVER had it.I looked better before. Worried! Any ideas?
