Hi, many ppl who've had endo. Brow lift show pics where the brows dropped back to the OG position within 2 years. Are there any known factors / predispositions that may cause this for some individuals? I wish results lasted a min. of 10 years. Im thinking of combining brow & cheek. Can they both drop back at ANY time post surgery? Thank you!
I am having a brow lift with possible upper bleph in December to correct my hooded eyes. I want to be able to see my movable upper lid. It looks like I may only need the browlift but my PS won't know for sure until he is doing the surgery. He said that sometimes they were unsuccessful. However, a friend of mine who used to work for him said she never saw any that he did drop and they were always successful. Do you think he was just telling me all the possibilities of what could go wrong?
Hello, I had a bilateral browlift 5 weeks 1 day ago and feel that my eyebrows have dropped a lot since the op. My surgeon said they will drop some, but what worries me is they seem to have dropped a lot and every few days they seem less and less high. Is it possible for them to go back to their original position which was very low? will they stop dropping now that I am over 5 weeks post op? the skin has flattened out - no longer bunched at the temples... I am young looking no wrinkles 34 yo
I am two months post op. I still feel the pull of the endotines in my scalp. I see no change and the doctor agrees. She says that because I am young (30) my muscle was so tight she couldn't pull it more than she did. Is this right? No doctor explained this during my consultations as a concern. Dr is saying maybe a direct brow lift will help. I just wanted to lift them to take them off my eyelids and help the right one from dropping so low.
I had a coronal brow lift 20 years ago. It was beautiful, but with aging my right brow and eye has drooped considerably lower than the left. I had my upper and lower lids done more than twenty years ago- the lower for fat pads and the upper for loose skin. I have hypothyroidism and six months ago I had cataract removal.
I had an edoscopic forehead lift 6 weeks ago. My eyebrows still seem too high. I wanted to look rested not different. I am still quite numb and might have still have a bit of swelling.I would be happy to send before and after photos privately.
I got a brow lift 6 weeks ago and the anchors protrude through the skin and one actually moves when touched. It is also painful to the touch. My eye lids have now dropped back to where they were before surgery. What are the options and is the patient financially responsible in most cases?
Things were looking pretty good and today BOOM, DROPPP. I know swelling has probably subsided and I never expected PERFECT symmetry, but for all the $, time and 7 incisions / screws, does this look right? It's not as if they will go higher with swelling reduction, right? Could I have busted through my tensions that lead to the screws on top? My fear is, if we need a redo let's do it while the screws still may b on top?! Any thoughts appreciated
