I have recently gotten my nipples pierced, and i would like to get a breast reduction in 3-5years time. i know the piercing would have to be taken out during the procedure but what about after surgery can they be put back in? nipple piercings close really quick even if fully healed and ive looked online and everywhere says something different. i would just like to know if ill still have my piercings by the end of it or will i have to get them repierced?
I'm getting a breast reduction next week but I just now am seeing that when you get surgery you need to have all piercings removed. I have a cartilage ear piercing that is stuck in my ear and hurts so bad to the touch, it's been growing for like a year. If I asked the surgeon to take it out for me is there any chance he would? Whether that's quick with local anesthesia right before surgery or while I'm under general anesthesia. I would be willing to pay of course.
when i get the procedure i understand im going to have to take the titanium jewelry out. how long will i have to leave them out? can i plug them with a rubber or plastic/ non metal retainer or is it just safe to say the holes are likely to close up
I have been looking forward to meeting a surgeon for a while but today I felt discouraged and dissuaded from the surgery. Unless I misunderstood the surgeon, she made it sound like my left nipple will be more susceptible to necrosis due to the lack of blood supply from the piercing. Is this true? I thought nipple necrosis was rare and it seems many other surgeons have successfully performed the surgery for patients with nipple piercings. Im really worried.
I got my breast reduction in December of 2014, I went from an H cup to a C/D cup. I had no complications with the surgery and my scars are no longer pink and are healing very well. Would it be okay to get my nipples pierced? I don't have any sensitivity in either of them anymore and I'm hoping that it would change that.
