Would piercing my nipples help some additional feeling to return? I lost about 90% of feeling from my breast reduction.

I am deeply sorry to hear that you have lost sensation in your nipples following your breast reduction. It is common for sensation to be altered immediately following surgery. In most cases, sensation may return, at least partially, but this may take several months. Sadly, if there’s little sensation in the area and the surgery was more than 18 months ago, no amount of stimulation, including nipple piercing is likely to bring sensation back to the area. 

Your breast reduction surgery was over a year ago and by this time, your loss of nipple sensation would be deemed permanent. Unfortunately, nipple piercing will not bring the sensation back. Best wishes.Karen Singer, M.D., P.A.Harvard GraduateBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

I am sorry to hear about your loss of nipple sensation. Unfortunately, I don't think that piercing your nipples will help with this.
