I am deeply sorry to hear that you have lost sensation in your nipples following your breast reduction. It is common for sensation to be altered immediately following surgery. In most cases, sensation may return, at least partially, but this may take several months. Sadly, if there’s little sensation in the area and the surgery was more than 18 months ago, no amount of stimulation, including nipple piercing is likely to bring sensation back to the area.
