I am planning on having a breast reduction surgery in the UK on the NHS. I am a 32H and will require to have 500grams out of each breast. I have been told by my surgeon I will be basically flat but after research I have seen I will be around a D cup. I think they may be trying to convince me not to have one. Can anyone let me know if they have had similar experiences.
I am a 32H. I would like to be a 32C/B. I am 5'8 and 145 pounds.I am a new mom so I just lost a lot of weight and I just stopped nursing. I went to one surgeon consultation and the MD said the smallest my breast could be is a 32D. Problem: my insurance will cover a breast reduction but not a breast lift and I would NOT be happy as a 32D. Before I spend a lot of time doing to in-person consults, I want to know what the online community thinks?
Hello Im currently 25 years old, 411 tall and have a size 30H bra.Since I was 11 years old Ive been having terrible neck, shoulder and back pain. Ive been through 18 weeks of physical therapy (2 day sessions every week) with listed exercises to do at home,Ive had XRays, MRIs, EMG.Ive been given pain meds, muscle relaxants, and meds for inflammation. Nothing has worked. I cant run, bend over for more than a few seconds, do my hair, sleep in any position without feeling discomfort.
I recently lost weight (75lbs) and my breasts didnt not follow suit, my band size went down from a 48 to a 38/40, but cup size did not change in volume per se, I was at the time a triple d but now Im currently a 38i/40h depending on the brand of bra. Ive hit sort of plateau in weight loss and I know that most of it is skin and some of it is a few pounds left to go. However my question is I dont think my breasts are going to shrink as I hoped they would. Would I qualify for a reduction & lift?
I had a breast reduction in October 21. I am almost a year post op and I have lost over 20lbs since surgery. I started out as a 36G. I am a 34H now. Meaning I am the same size after surgery? The doctor swore he could get me to a C/D. How am I still where I was? I had a major surgery, I have big scars, etc. He wants to meet with me to discuss further options. I'm not even sure that insurance will cover another surgery.
I'm size 32H and desperate to get a reduction due to the pain and discomfort i'm experiencing. I've successfully breast fed 4 kids. I would want to go down to a c cup, what are the chances to preserve my ability to breastfeed? Also, how long after breastfeeding can i get a reduction? (currently breastfeeding) Thanks
I had my first BR 10 years ago but it was like I didnt get a BR (32H, 150lb, 58). I found out that the surgeon only removed 150 grams from each breast. Now I am considering a 2nd breast reduction. I have been told that they may only be able to take another 150-250 grams off bc of blood supply to the nipples. I want to reduce my 50% but am not sure now if a 2nd BR is worth it. Some surgeons seem to imply I can reduce as much as I want? So which is it? Help!
I am currently a 36 H cup and I am worried that going to a c cup is going to leave me flat chested. I have a surgery date for next month and my surgeon said a C cup would look nice on me, but I am scared that I will left with nothing. Maybe I am crazy lol
Back, neck, and shoulder pain plaques me. 50+ years old and desire smaller breast than 42H. Will HMO pay for reduction in this case? Does reduction automatically lift breast?
