27F. Im 58 220ish and Im consulting for a reduction in July and August with two different surgeons because I finally have an insurance policy that covers medically necessary reductions!! Im working to lose a little more weight before my consult, but is it possible to reduce my size that much? I know insurance can get tricky with BMI / Schnur so Im trying to manage my expectations of size / approval.
I've had 2 consult with different opinions. I'm currently 5'3, 150 lb and wear a 34 G. One Dr said that a lift would bring me to at most ..a C cup. The 2nd Dr said he could do a reduction ( lift is part of it) to a D cup. What is the difference between the two and why would just a lift bring me down so many cup sizes?
Id like to be a C cup if thats possible. The 1275 is a requirement of my insurance company. Im trying to find the most cost efficient way to have this done because the back, neck and shoulder pain have gotten to be unbearable and are restricting my activities. Ive had a consult with a local surgeon and he said he could not commit to removing this large amount. I just want another opinion before paying for another consult.
I cant upload my photos? I just had breast reduction surgery July 30, 2018, 4 days ago, I am feeling great, hardly any pain, my question is that I went from a cup size F to G down to a C hopefully, I am very flat with a lot of side boob. the nurse said this is common and that everything will come forward after setteling? can I expect this?
Hi there. Thanks in advance for any help. I am 2 weeks post op, from a 34G/H, now hopefully a small 34C. have two concerns: 1. The black color on my nipples? Especially the right one, really dark. 2. Today my lower left breast had some irritation, and slight dark discoloration toward the bottom. The side toward my armpit is especially sore, tender, and firm in comparison to the other breast. Im 2 days from my period so I wanna hope its hormones but why only one breast?
It has now been six weeks and I have gotten to go ahead from my doctor to start scar treatments (massage with bio oil 2x daily) and resume all normal activity. While I am extremely satisfied with the work my doctor did I have looked at other BR pictures and feel that my scars look worse than other patients at this stage. I want to start working out again (barre classes, elliptical etc) but am afraid that this will make them even worse.
Met w a few surgeons. Question of Lollipop vs. anchor still confusing. Those who perform anchor say it's impossible to use lollipop on me. However one claims it is, another says he can do a shorter anchor scar/totally hidden in fold. I'm 32 G/slim and want C cup From a surgical challenges standpoint what is the difference? Can they not remove as much with a lollipop? Higher risk of complication? Are the doctors using anchor BC they haven't adopted the newer lollipop technique? Conflicting info!
Im 20 yrs old, 5'4 and 169 lbs. My bra size is a 34G/H & I want to be a C cup. I know I am a little overweight and I have lost 6 lbs so far. My breasts give me a lot of neck, back, & shoulder pain. I currently have BCBS EPO of Maryland for insurance and I want to get the reduction by the end of December of this year (it's July) because I am in school. I don't have time for physical therapy because of school, work, etc. Is there anyway I can skip the physical therapy so I can get the reduction.
