I am 48 and likely perimenopausa. I have fairly significant hormonal breast pain 2.5 to 3 weeks out of the month. I am scheduled to get implants in. Few days and I am concerned 1. Whether I should be getting them during the flare ups (although they aren't always easy to predict timing wise) and 2. If there is anything detrimental to having implants given that I deal with this Or if it will make it worse
Breast implants 7th September 22, initially happy and no problems. Signed off to commence CrossFit exercise in December. Shape changed in February, surgeon says just loss of tissue and hormones but mri shows significant difference. Even with this evidence and a 2nd opinion saying flipped he maintains that its just my body changes. Can I have opinions here please. He said my options are to gain weight or have fat injections or places under muscle instead
Hi, I'm a famale 31 years of age, I have dense breast tissue due to hormonal changes from contraceptive pills. I was told by my doctor that it increases the risk of cancer and it's better to remove partial of it.and I'm also willing to get breast implants. Is it possible to reduce the dense tissue is at the same time of having the breast implants?
Hi , I used to have gynocosmatia I had a surgery to remove it many years back in 2015, I want to live as a women now want to get breast implants.. looking at my current pic could someone advice me if I could get them , I am 177 cm and 78 kgs. I am not sure if HRT will make any difference to my breast issue because of the previous surgery. Also what size would be suitable for me ? I like to go on the bigger size but I do know one has to start with small implants, will my nipple remain the same?
Will breast implants impact breastfeeding? I already have stretch marks on thigh and breasts that quickly appeared during puberty despite not being overweight, does that mean my stretch marks will get worse with implants and/or pregnancy? My main concern is that whatever has been going on with my body is going to interfere with my plans to become pregnant and breast feed. I have also been curious that if this is something like PCOS, if I had known & been treated earlier, would my breasts have developed properly?
I had silicone gel implants 10 years ago with no issues. More recently it looks like my left boob as drooped slightly however not that noticeable. But I have severe discomfort every month now with heavy sore feeling which is all round the left side and under and behind nipple. Feels like I am full of milk post pregnancy to describe pain and discomfort best way. I appreciate this is potential hormonal as appears more swollen an sore every month. However was never an issue before.
I had a mirena IUD a few years ago & had bad side effects, one being irritability, mood swings. I had it for 6 mo. & after getting it taken out I was back to my happy self within a week or so. I was reading that the mirena is made of silicone & although I've chosen saline implants, I realize the outer shell is silicone. Just wondered if this should be a RED FLAG to me to NOT get implants?? Do implants affect hormone levels at all?
