I am just about 9 weeks post op from a silicone submuscular implant. Since about weeks 3, my breast have been extremely dry. Not so much the nipples, they seem fine. But the skin on the breasts, especially the sides, its super dry and flakey. I can see skin flakes in my clothing when I undress. I try to gently exfoliate and lotion them everyday. I have never had this issue before surgery. Is this normal?
I had a bandage for the last 3 weeks I am now 4 weeks post op and were the bandage was I have very dry skin and it starting to itch just where the sticky part of the bandage was. I want to put a cream because it looks like stretch marks.
I am 8 weeks post op about three weeks ago I noticed a area on the insicion site that didn't look like it was heeling it still looked purple. No redness or ozzing. Underneath it felt like The bad Two days ago I pulled a piece of dry skin off and and it looked like a little hole the size of a needle. My doctor didn't run any test to see if there was a infection but didn't look like or feel like there was. Thank you for your help
I'm 4.5 mths post BA. Went from A cup - 275cc round textured under muscle. Have started getting funny skin texture on side boobs. Not itchy or sore at all. But occasionally likes like rash/ break out, with some red marks/spots Have tried to moisturise. But seems to not go away. Looks a bit like what u get when pregnant / skin stretching .. Why am I getting this now ? Is it an allergic reaction to silicon implants? Should I be worried ?
Breast surgery (silimed implants) in mid-january, and my dr lives in another country. Isn't itchy but I'm numbed on the exact spot. The spot started as a dry, flaky beige spot 1-2months ago but it's now turned like in the pics. Very flaky and no moisturizer works. What is it, is it dangerous and what can I do? Thank you
