Good afternoon doctors! My mother tongue is not English so I'm going to try to explain my issue the best way I can. I removed my breast implants 8 months ago. Everything went fine, but a problem emerged after the surgery, my breasts become distorted but only when the muscles flex. So my questions is if I can exercise my chest using weights or even without weights? or can this type of exercise cause more problems and deformity in my breasts? Thank you very much
I am looking to go through an explant surgery to remove implants which are approximately 10 years old. I am not having issues, no ruptures, deflation, pain, etc. It is simply a personal preference to have them removed as it were to have them implanted. I do not want a lift following the explantation procedure. I am in good health and active in running, biking and lifting weights.
My PS said that my pockets expanded from lifting weights and that my implant is rubbing against an exposed nerve causing me a lot of pain. I want them gone but almost everyone in my life is totally unsupportive. I'm terrified because I have ZERO breast tissue left so I'm so worried I will just be all loose skin
I had a sub muscular breast augmentation in December of 2012 and told my doctor I was a bodybuilder. I have become an elite powerlifter. My implants have moved closer to my arm pits and breasts are very tender after a heavy workout. I am currently training for Nationals in October, but feel the implants are limiting my strength and causing internal rotation and impingement of my shoulders. Also my scars under my breasts have not gone away and it has been 4 years since surgery.
hello i am scheduled for a breast implant removal with capsulectomy on the 8th of november. I have been lifting heavy weights and competing for about 2 years now, and by heavy i mean 135-155 on bench press and 225 squats and so on. i want to know how long after my surgery is it ok for my to start lifting heavy and eventually getting back to lifting the same amount of weight as before the surgery?
