Hi there, thanks in advance for reading. I had my 2nd BA In 2012 after PIP scandal revised with Allergan slightly bigger. Ive been back to my revision surgeon today as I want to explant, Ive had issues with left capsular contracture and pain on & off and loads of general health symptoms. Reading recently about alcl and breast implant illness I want them out no lift. He said he wouldnt do capsulectomy unless it was abnormal regardless if I had NHS or paid private as its unnecessary/risky if ok.
Good afternoon I had breast implants in 2 years. And since surgery I have back, neck, shoulder pain very much. I visited physiotherapy but couldn't help me. Can I remove them with NHS or warranty because it's just wrong for my health. I can sleep because of pain or do sport. Basically block my life. Thank you Regards Noemi
Hi I'm 48 with silicone implants for over 15 years having them removed by Nhs due to pain. Op booked for APril, excited about having them out but worried about how they are going to look after due to how long I had them in and the loose skin.
I have terrible breast pain, when I say this it's not that my breasts hurt to touch. They ache and feel bruised. My ribs ache and I still have pain and weakness in my arms. My implants had ruptured 4 years before I had them taken out last year. ( unbeknown to me at first and then found out whilst I was pregnant. I'm still not right and my pain is getting worse. I have seen ps who is not willing to remove capsules.i know this is because nhs won't help me! I really need them out!!!!!
Had my surgery yesterday. I was not bandaged up or wrapped to compress my chest. Is this normal? Every journey I've read on this site have been tightly wrapped up for at least 48 hours. I've come home and put a tight non wired non padded sports bra on. Feel alot more supported now. Just wondered why my plastic surgeon chose to leave me this way? I had my surgery on the nhs in England. Any advice with what I should be doing right now would be very helpful. Not due to see my Ps for 1 week now.
