Hi ladies has anyone had an off and on burning sensation after explant? I'm about 7 weeks post op. Last week no pain, then woke up in the middle night and lifted my son (30 pounds) into my bed and felt a burning in both breast today it's been the same all day. Totally off and on. More when I press on the breast or nipple. Going to call my surgeon Monday if it doesn't pass. My regular doc said maybe it's nerves.. Weird
I had silicon gel implants 250cc put in unfortunately due to an infection I had to get rid of them so after only 1 month of having them in I had an explant, but I had relised that I have lost sensation in my right nipple and I when Im touching my right breast I barely can feel them its like a nerve has been cut off and I literally cant feel my right breast. I want to know if thats normal and will I be getting the sensation back later or not? Thank-you.
Ive had breast implants (and a lift) for 7 years and ever since 3 weeks after surgery Ive had this odd thing where I get extreme pain and uncomfortable in my left breast on and off No surgeon seems to know why as I dont have capsular con, Ive only heard may be sitting on a nerve Id love to end this pain and explant but I dont know if itll fix the problem? My implants are under the muscle and pain is around nipple and 80% of breast area. Entire breast feels hypersensitive
After BA 4 yrs ago right nipple & skin around it has been numb. Now 8 days post explant & getting tiny bit of feeling in nipple, but surrounding skin above, below & to right of areola does not react to cold, heat, anything. The sensation I do get is one of pressure and discomfort. Is this something that will reverse or get better gradually with the implants removed? The BA was 425cc Silicone HP Mentor Under the muscle, and I was a 32D to begin with before the BA.
I had a revision 4/2017 to replace a ruptured implant, developed severe intercostal nerve pain. I explanted 2wks ago with total capsulectomy. Breasts healing fine. Nerve has swollen severely along my side since explant, bruised, extremely painful. Please don't say to see my surgeon. I have. He bemoaned my post-explant appearance and held his hands up dismissively when I asked about it. I get it, not his dept. How long would you recommend a pt wait before seeing a pain specialist or neurologist?
Planning on a explant ASAP. Nerve pain, uncomfortable and unhappy with them. No plans to exchange. I was 19 when I first had a boob job. AAA to a B. Second round to a C. Two pregnancies and one breastfed till 8 month old. Now 52 years old. Lots of indentations on underside. Shape is off. Wonder if I have a leak. Silicone 450 cc above muscle for 29 years!!!! Ready to be free.
