I had a revision 4/2017 to replace a ruptured implant, developed severe intercostal nerve pain. I explanted 2wks ago with total capsulectomy. Breasts healing fine. Nerve has swollen severely along my side since explant, bruised, extremely painful. Please don't say to see my surgeon. I have. He bemoaned my post-explant appearance and held his hands up dismissively when I asked about it. I get it, not his dept. How long would you recommend a pt wait before seeing a pain specialist or neurologist?
