I recently had explant and mastopexy, grade IV capsular contracture to left. Capsule removed with significant inflammation and blood evident, in last few days have had some swelling, inflammation and hardness to breast. PS says it is a hematoma, he tried to aspirate it but the blood has congealed. He said that my body should just slowly break it down and re absorb it, can I use ice packs to help with pain? Or should I apply heat? What is the best treatment?
Ive had silicone implants in for 10years now so I know Im due for a revision anyway. But lately I feel some pain and hardness in the right breast. Im pretty sure its ruptured. The problem is, Im still nursing my toddler. How long do I need to wait after stopping nursing before I can get either an explant or a revision? I havent decided which one I want yet.
I had saline implants removed without capsulectomy five months ago but the seroma on my right breast still not completely go away. The left side is normal. I have fluid aspiration 6 times already. The amount of fluid is from 100cc, 60, 40, 30, 20, 10. I still feel the lump/hardness when the fluid is down to 10 cc. I need your professional advises. Please help.
Hi there. I had my explant 6 weeks ago. Ive noticed lumps and bigger areas of hardened / firm tissue in the lower pole. I know the doc left the capsule in. He said it was very very thin like cellophane wrap and he didnt take it out. I wonder if what Im feeling is capsule. Ugh. He said it would dissolve on its own? Im hoping for Fat Transfer in the near future. ... Im wondering what you think this odd tissue could be .... could it effect the fat transfer ?

My implants are 30 y/o & rock hard. Six weeks ago I found a hard lump attached to my rib. It's not in the breast tissue but on the right side at 9:00. Ultrasound findings: Snowstorm appearance with severe posterior echogenic shadowing & contour abnormality of the breast implant. No mass is identified. No evidence of malignancy. Highly suggestive of silcone rupture. Can this cause a hard lump attached to a rib outside the implant?
I had breast implants removed a wk ago through the inframammary fold. Originial incision was through my armpit so I'm not familiar with what to expect in this area. Today I noticed a hard bump under one incision. The other one does have a slight firmness to it too but not as much. Is this normal? What is it & is this very concerning? Could it be an infection? I notice some slight pinkish color around the breast but nothing alarming. The purple stuff around the incision is glue.
