I had saline implants 350cc in June 2014. I am 64. By Dec. 2014 the left breast had encapsulated and sat much higher on chest wall. PA 'fixed' the left implant in Dec. 2014. For about 6 months both looked much the same However, now the left breast is again hard and I'm experiencing shoulder and back pain. The PA said he could deflate the implants and leave it inside the breast. Have you ever heard of this method, will it work and not cause health problems or breast shape distortion?
I got my breast augmentation on 10/05/2017. I feel top heavy w/ crazy neck & back pain. I felt rushed into this decision, not by my doctor, but my low self esteem after breast feeding 3 children I was left w/ 2 saggy breasts. I do not care about how saggy they will be afterwards, I will deal with them & accept my natural body. I've seen a huge debate on whether to leave the capsule in or not. I never had any issues w/ my implants. I would just like to know what is the safest way to remove them?
I had a breast augmentation about 5 months ago, and since about 2 months ago I have had chronic back pain. The pain moves, and when it hurts, is much worse when I lay down or sit. I go to the chiropractor every week with no help, xrays look fine. At this point I dont know what else it could be, and am considering explant. I know the skin will retract differently for every person, but I did develop stretch Mark's after surgery, and am wondering if that means my skin will not retract as much?
Over past 4 years have had lingering issues. Implants are 5 years old. I have had been dealing with what I thought was fitness or Ergonomics. Took time off from both - not it. Spent 4 years seeing the three best shoulder doctors, many massages therapist - not your feel good people: many PTs, chiropractors, PRP, dry needling, acupuncture and I have started doing yoga and pilates. It is impacting my life. One doctor said what about your implants? Shoulders are rolled forward people say. Exercises for scapular winging help most. This is truly impacting my life and work.
I have breast implants that are encapsulated, calcified along with cysts. This condition is painful and I was wondering if it could be a contributing factor in my upper back pain? The back pain becomes severe when I extend my arms to do certain chores, driving, or standing. I am going to check out some doctors to remove the implants along with the calcification and cysts. If the removal of all these cause deformity, will insurance cover reconstruction?
I am planning to explant textured under the muscle for back / neck pain reasons and not wanting ALCL. Would it make sense to just remove implants first then capsules later? I have a 4 month old at home and would have to hire help to care for her during recovery if I went ahead and did the whole procedure at once. My understanding is that removing the implants is very easy and recovery is as well vs a complete explant with enbloc?
My Doctor said he scraped my breast tissue out before putting in the implants because I hardly had any breast tissue. My implants are to big and high. Causing me neck and back pain. They have been droppy from the second month of having them put in. I would rather have small breast than these 36 DD. I asked for smaller implants the doctor gave me much larger than I wanted. He said I know what men like. Yes he really said that.
I am considering having my breast implants removed and a lift performed as I have tremendous back and shoulder pain with the weight and my job as a dental hygienist. Any possibility it could be considered a reduction with a lift and insurance may cover the costs?
Hi! I nursed my son (now 2+) for 14 months, basically until I found out I was pregnant With my daughter who is now 6 months and Im still nursing. As you can imagine my implants dont look like they used to! Chronic back and chest pain has me ready to get these implants out ASAP! How long do I have to wait after nursing? Is a lift always necessary? Does insurance ever cover this? Thank you!!
