I had 275cc partial implants just over 3 months ago, which I hated following a horrible hospital experience. They came out huge on my petite frame. I had them removed 9 days ago, and they are smaller than before, and sagging although I can tell everyday they seem to look better than the day before. I am also experiencing pins and needle type sensations. Can you recommend anything for recovery to help?
9 days after explant, one breast swelled up, I was rushed to emergency surgery & was told it was a hematoma due to 1 of the blood vessels not dying when he cauterize it So he stitched the vein shut. Is this a bad Dr or am I just a rare case? Any insight would be helpful.
11 days post op (lift and explant - no implant now). Im concerned about the extensive pleating. The surgeons nurse said that it is normal, but in scanning the many photos on this site posted by women during their recoveries I dont see anything that looks like this. Will it smooth out over time, or am I likely to need a revision?
I had my saline implants removed 11 days ago they were over the muscle and I had a lift at the same time. My question is to the doctors who know information on Brest implant illness. I asked to get my implants back and I noticed inside each plug there black!!' What is that and what should I do protical wise to make sure if it's fungal to detox myself. I could not travel to the Ps who are well versed in Implant illness. What and why is there black inside the plug?
When is it ok to submerge my breasts after explanting? I will be 10 days post op, no drains, capsules not removed, no lift, no replacement. I will be on vacation and would like to know if simple submersion would be ok 10 days out. Thanks!
8 yo saline implants deflated in office w/ local. The right side was painful and I felt something pop during the procedure. 9 days after the procedure and I'm still having pain on the right side above the breast. I can feel a firm mass (guessing envelope) on the medial side of right breast. I describe the pain as someone punching me in the chest, slightly knocking the air out of me. No pain or tenderness on left side. I plan to see the plastic surgeon to follow up as soon as I can get in.
I'm 1.5 weeks out of having an explant. I'm considering having a lift and possibly fat transfer in a few months. I'm thinking it would be good to get a mammogram before having these procedures done to a) ensure nothing is wrong now, and b) do it to get my normal baseline appearance. I'm 37 so I'm not quite at the recommended age. I know things are still healing and settling down inside, and that this actually takes a while -- so how long should I wait? Thanks!
61 y/o, very thin. 10 days pot op explant with no Mastopexy done. Is there anything or product to help firm up the breast skin? Any good collegan cream etc.... I know there is no magic in a jar, but anything worth a try? Thank you for any suggestions! I am still wearing a compression sports bra and will continue for awhile longer.
