I have a peg lateral on left side and missing right lateral incisor. I am 28 and considering to fix my teeth. My middle teeth have started to overlap a bit. My ortho suggested extraction of peg lateral and closing the space. Then substituting my canines to look like incisors. I read a lot about how canine substitution is not the best treatment here. Could you please advise what I should do?
Based on my research it appears this is what they are but I'm not sure if they're just baby teeth. It is genetic though as my mother has them too. I would like to put on braces for my gap but I'd like to have equally shaped teeth beforehand. Thanks in advance
I think I have peg laterals but Im not sure. Neither my orthodontist or dentist have told me directly that I have peg laterals but my ortho did say that my teeth wouldnt close normally due to my lateral incisors. So he wants to rotate them. Im stressing out and am self conscious about my lateral incisors and Im not sure what to do. I know the pictures stink but any help would be much appreciated.
I am wondering what the best treatment will be to make my smile more aesthetically pleasing. I have a peg lateral tooth (had some bonding years back) with a crooked front tooth. Just wondering what the best treatment will be for me?
I have a crooked bottom tooth because of crowding, i have perfectly aligned on the top but i have 2 peg lateral (i think that's what it's called) teeth. Should i get braces over the peg lateral teeth? if the braces fix the gaps I wouldn't really care about the size and shape. Is their a way i can fix the bottom tooth without braces? or the gaps without braces? i don't want to have remove the teeth while having braces on. also would invisailgn work?
