3 days ago I was putting on my makeup on my forehead and my forehead tensed up and tingled and my eyebrows flattened/dropped I quickly raised them back up with my hands and they went back to normal. Today I was using a makeup remover wipe and the same thing happened. I was able to put them back, but why is this occurring??
Ive been getting Botox for the past couple years but have been noticing a worsening line going down my forehead as well as a continuously tight headache feeling. Im not sure if this is normal from the heaviness of the Botox
Hi I carry a lot of tension in my forehead. I feel it over my right brow and lid and sometimes down right side of nose. It even looks like I am frowning slightly just on right side. It is uncomfortable and makes me look tired. From afar and in some lighting its is possible to see raised muscle on inner and outer side of right brow. I would love to have some relief from this tension but am anxious about treating one side of face. And also unsure if treatment would help at all. Many thanks.
I am almost 3 months out from Botox. As my forehead became tighter my temples began hurting and I have have tension like headaches since . Seeing a neurologist who does see headaches post Botox in about 5 percent of patients . Trying to future out a medicine that works but no luck yet ... and of course waiting for Botox to wear off ... any suggestions ??
I have a base shaped face which seems to be getting worse, so I'm contemplating jaw reduction. How much Botox will I need to get subtle but sufficient result? Any chances it would give me a sunken in look, which I'm afraid of happening? Also, I have severe tension in jaw-neck-shoulder area that I am constantly aware of, and it debilitates me from concentrating. Can Botox be used to treat such a condition? Is jawline reduction effective in relieving some of the tension?
I currently receive trigger point injections, (about 25+ per appointment). They help for several days & then it's time to do it again. I understand that Botox is used for the face & bladder sometimes, lasting about 3 to 4 months. I'm wondering if it could relieve the knots & tension in my lower back muscles so I can function again. Or is that a bad idea in that area?
When I stopped biting my nails I started biting my cheeks and mouth on the inside. I am always biting down and moving my mouth in ugly ways that causes wrinkles around the mouth and makes my jaw tired. I feel a lot of tension in my jaw from this and even when not biting I tend to be tense here. Would Botox in my jaw help relax some of this or alleviate my constant biting?
It has been two weeks since my Botox treatment - 80 units all up, in my jaw, temporalis, forehead and between eyebrows. This is my first ever Botox treatment. I've got severe tension in my temples and cannot lay on my side in bed or even touch them, nothing relieves it. I've had two migraines since the injections - I normally only get two a year! What would be the cause of this? I'm also extremely tired since the injections.
Some doctors say you should purposely tense/wrinkle the injected facial muscles soon after injections to further work the Botox or Dysport into the muscles. Ive also heard that the day your Botox is done, its particularly susceptible to migration and that you need to be extra careful. Soon after injections, does purposely tensing/wrinkling (without using your hands) your injected facial muscles cause an increased risk for Botox or Dysport migration to unintended areas? Is it safe to try?
