I've had botox against frowning for 2 decades. Last year I started to see blue veins near my temples and I developed bunny lines. My doctor now injects very moderately. Just inside corners of eyebrows and high under my hairline. Eyebrows look even. Veins have been treated with laser and diminished. But now there are diagonal folds on both sides. I can smooth them out by pulling skin near corners of eyes lightly down. Are muscles compensating, pulling upward too hard? Doctor says its volumeloss
I have a low interpupilary distance and quite wide temporalis. After evaluating my CT scan i've concluded that the biggest reason for this is soft tissue and not bone width. Could botox be a long term solution to improve my eye spacing and bloated upper face look?
Hi, i had 22.5 units of botox injected in one spot each side of my masseters almost 4 months ago april 20th. Now i have jowls and marionette lines. It's so bad that i have to put face tape behind my ear to hold loose skin back that my masseters formerly held back. Now my temples especially on one side are growing huge. What do i do to get my former face back?
Is it possible to get Botox on the temples of a receded hairline? (Ive heard that Botox will not work on the head and that anything above the adolescent hairline is considered head territory, not face). Please advise.
I have a large head, and from the left side it looks pretty normal. But looking straight on, it's clear that the sides bulge out dramatically over my ears, and not symmetrically, either. Would botox on the temporalis muscle help my head look more normal? I'm losing my hair and am hesitant to keep my head shaved because of this. What do you recommend? Is there anything that can be done?
Got Botox 11 days ago. On 5th day starting experiencing intense pressure in my temples, when I lay down the pressure builds in my temples and in the back of my head and feels like my temples are going to explode. What is this? How do I treat it? Im really panicking. 've been taking Advil, it helps take the edge off when Im standing - as soon as I lay down I have no relief and havent slept in over a week.
I have severe TMJ that progressed into degenerative arthritis, and am going to get jaw joint replacement surgery in the next year and a half. Because of my jaw bone resorption, I've lost height of my face, and the muscles of my neck, head, face and shoulders have had to compensate. Because of this I have noticed my frontalis muscle of my forehead, mytemples, and eyebrow/lid muscles increasingly clenchedand prominent. Would botox help, and if so, where?
I am almost 3 months out from Botox. As my forehead became tighter my temples began hurting and I have have tension like headaches since . Seeing a neurologist who does see headaches post Botox in about 5 percent of patients . Trying to future out a medicine that works but no luck yet ... and of course waiting for Botox to wear off ... any suggestions ??
