Hi I've had botox a few times in the past and it always gave a lift to forehead. I've naturally heavy lids low brow, full and puffy since a kid but botox has since made my brow drop low each time instead of lifting it. Before I get again, what's the best area to inject to achieve forehead lift? I've been told don't need blepharoplasty as lids have no skin just puffy full. Also it's one eye that goes really puffy
The last photo with my hair straight is 13 years prior to the ones I just took. I used to have fat pads under my eyes that I disliked. I never got them removed because I knew I would lose the fat as I got older. Here I am now and the skin under my former puffier eye is loose and crinkly. I would prefer not to get surgery but want it fixed. I'm Spanish so my skin tends to hyper and hypo pigment. Is microneedling and Botox the answer? Fractura? Plasma tightening? What would you do? Based in park city and Raleigh - help please!
I have tried a few different brands and techniques and also had some placed into my arm to try and find out why my eyes become puffy a week or so after. I seem to be allergic to it as I still had a slight puffyness to my eyes even when I had a small amount in my arm Im wondering why the swelling is happening and if there might be something else I can try that has the same effect in the UK? Im so disappointed. Would taking antihistamines every day make a difference? Or is it dangerous?
I have had Botox about 8 times and on 2 occasions when requesting a lifted brow look, I have ended up with hooded eyes. I had Botox 3 weeks ago and went back for the top up 5 days ago and my brows has dropped. Is this likely to get worse before it gets better? I'm going on holiday in 5 days so I'm worried. I also have a funny bulge when I raise my eyebrows ( on one side by the tail of my brow). Will this last the full term of the Botox? Thanks
Im in my 30s and my skin is aging- I feel like my wrinkles, uneven skin tone & eyes are most noticeable (dark circles/hollowed out or sometimes puffy under eyes). Would Botox be a good option for me, and where do I need it? Are there other injections, lasers or procedures I should try on my skin also? I have wrinkles, Melasma on my forehead and uneven skin/sun spots and some acne scarring and dont know where to start. Thank you!
I had Botox for the first time ever and saw great results within 1st week. Only side effect I had was at week 1 had sudden drowsiness, fatigue and a little puffy eyes. It went away within 24 hrs. The two week mark hit and I noticed day by day my lines are returning. Each day I notice more lines returning & getting worse. I went back and we did not do a touch up Bc it wasnt that bad, but now its worse and the lines are returning full fledge. Does this mean Botox just doesnt work for me?
I received botox for the first time and am a 33 year old Asian. I had a total of 16 units (4 in my procerus, 3 each in my corrugators, 2 units in my left frontalis, 1 in the middle and right frontalis and 1 unit each in my crow's feet. After 3-4 days, I got dark bags and puffiness directly under my eyes. Two weeks after the treatment, the puffiness and dark bags got slightly worse. It has not improved yet. I have never had a prior history of bagginess, dark circles or puffiness.
I had Botox done 7 days ago for the first time. the outer parts of my eyebrows are more arched making me look harsh, my eye puffy and swollen a bit with makes my eyes much more hooded and when I raise my eyebrows only the outside lifts which makes me look like Spock.I got injected with my mom in law and sister in law and both look fine. I had 20 units in my glabella and 5 units accros my forehead lines. What do I do? Can someone please help? I don't know what to do?
I had 8 units on the upper (4 injection sites)1/3 of forehead and 10 units in the glabella. My eyes look completely different now. They are less round and more squinted. One eye has even dropped a little. How can I avoid this next time? Should I avoid the forehead units all together and just get the glabella treated? I miss my old eyes! Ive attached photos!
Hello doctors! I had Botox in my forehead and outer eyes (first time) 6 days ago. Around the forth day I woke up with very swollen eyelids that made putting on my eyeliner a mess! Swelling is definitely worse in the mornings and by late evening is about 50% decreased. I have tried antihistamine and Advil for swelling, which didnt help too much. How long before this swelling and eyelid bagginess resolves? What can I do, if anything at all?
