When I talk/speak and to a less extent smile, I get a weird marionette/jowl dimple on one side of my face. What muscle is this? Can Botox fix it? It really bothers me and is annoying. When I see it on video its like nails on a chalkboard to my eyes, pls help.
A few weeks go I went to get Botox from a nurse that's new to injecting Botox/Filler. She injected the two chin muscles with 2 units of Botox in each muscle as seen in the photo (a total of 4 units). It's been a few weeks and my chin is making this weird bump now, and has not relaxed those muscles. Any recommendations to suggest to the nurse injector? I'm so frustrated because I have an event coming up in a week, and I don't want my chin to look weird when I attend that event.
I had lip fillers about 1.5 ml spread over 2 sessions. Also had botox for dimples in my chin as well for downward mouth corners. Now i am wondering, will a botox lip flip also help a bit against downturned mouth corners?
HI AM I CORRECT THAT THIS CAN BE TREATED WITH BOTOX? IT DEEPENS AS I FROWN BUT IT STILL SHOWS ON A RESTING FACE AND ON CERTAIN LIGHTS IF BOTOX HELPS, HOW MAY UNITS WILL IT NEED? ARE THERE ANY OTHER ALTERNATE TREATMENT? (NOT FILLERS)
I have always had some irregular indentations and bunching on my chin when I smile. I also have creases and indents when I speak. I know botox in the chin can help with orange peel chin when frowning, but my concern is with my chin when speaking/smiling. The dents and dimples that form are very noticeable and make me incredibly insecure. I am not interested in filler. I just want my chin to stay the same and not move much when I speak and smile so the dents dont form. Can it help? Thank you.
I have had some trauma to my chin and have resulting issues with scar tissue and bunching /dimpling of the chin. Botox and filler treatments have really helped to improve this, but I am concerned about keeping this up over my lifetime (I am in my 40s, so this could potentially be several decades of treatments). Are there known consequences of treating this area for A long time? I worry about the impact on my jaw bone and to my smile, etc. Advice is welcome. Thank you!
When I smile I get dimples like this on both sides of my face and they bother me tremendously. If I smile gently and try not to let my cheeks go up they're not there. I am wondering if I can get Botox injected in my levator labii superioris muscle so that I can smile strongly as I usually do without the dimples appearing. If I do this will my mouth/smile freeze or look deformed? Thanks!
I had my mentalis injected with Botox about 3 weeks ago, and since the treatment Ive been experiencing this odd dimpling and indentation. It happens whenever I attempt to contract my mentalis and I can see it whenever Im chewing, drinking, or talking. Im so self conscious and hate the way it looks. Is this something that can be fixed without compromising my lip depressors? Im so upset and incredibly self conscious
So as you can see from the pictures my chin line is generally uneven. It didnt used to be, but when I get Botox done in my chin muscle I get a very deep dimple (shown on the right side of my face on the picture). I have tried getting filler to fill it up but that doesnt do much. My derm is stumped and I dont have any other PS or derms close by. All I want is a smooth chin line - I dont need more projection.
