My 24 yr son had a partially collapsed lung (spontaneous pneumothorax) 2 months ago due to bleb on lung. Drs could not say why it happened. He took accutane 7 yrs ago for six mos, could this drug be the reason as some info online indicates there could be a link. He is tall and thin. Also could exercise cause this too? He was quite active before, lifting weights and doing chin ups, but has not been able to do any kind of exercise yet. Thx.
I am approaching the end of my Accutane treatments, 5 months on 70mg/ per a day. During this time, I have not consumed alcohol and I have gain a substantial amount of weight. I am aware I am not allow to do strenuous exercise to lose this weight. Therefore, how long should I wait after my treatment,to have a drinking night? and in addition how long should I wait before I start dieting and exercising?
I ended my accutane a month and a half ago and want to start exercising because i've been pretty sedentary for the last months (during treatment). Of course i'll shower right after any exercise, but i wanted to know if exercising is risky because it reactivates oil glands and stuff. So it'd be counterproductive, wouldn't it? if accutane has stopped my oil glands and i'm starting them up again. Is there a risk of acne relapsing due to exercise (sweating,...),...? thanks in advance
I recently finished accutane around mid-February with amazing results, but the only downfall of it was the flushing. Everytime I flush my entire face turns red, hot and maybe a bit of sweating. I only flush when I'm nervous, bending over, eating spicy food or doing exercise. Most of the time my complexion is normal. Is the flushing ever going to go away? or it's the beginning of rosacea?
