16 months post tummy tuck. Belly Button - Do I need a revision? (Photos)
I am 28, I had my tummy tuck in December of 2024, so about 16 months ago. It was post losing about 130 lbs naturally. My belly button is an odd shape and very shallow, and there is weird discoloration around it. I don’t think it’s visible in the picture, but I kind of have an indent above my belly button as well. I have been very on top of scar massage and using silicone gel to attempt preventing bad scarring - probably for longer post op than most continue to do it. The scar across my lower stomach is still a bit dark but it’s very smooth and I’m pretty confident it’ll fade well. I really like my surgeon and even got an arm lift about 9 weeks ago - I have a follow up at the end of the month. I have seen things about in-office procedures to improve the look of the belly button so I’m wondering if I should seek this out? I have done my best to allow time for everything to settle/mature/etc and I know I shouldn’t seek perfection - but I really just want my belly button to not draw attention and I feel like I’m definitely not at that goal. TLDR: Weird belly button - what should I do?
