Should I try Cynosure Medlite C6 laser or PicoSure laser for a red ink tattoo? I did 1 session with Pico and saw no difference.

Picosure is great for removing red ink. It is important to use right wavelength settings which is 532 for red ink and be patient. It is harder to remove red ink but it is possible. It will require more treatments and experienced provider. I advise you to discuss your concerns with your provider. Good luck!

To effectively treat and remove tattoo ink one should see a dermatologist or physician's office that specializes in lasers. You need not only the right equipment but also know how of the science behind it so you choose the right tool to remove the tattoo. Our office uses three different lasers for tattoo removal including picosecond technology like the enlighten III system which is very effective at treating red ink and ink of all colors. 

I agree. The theory behind the 532 for red is there, but this is FILTERED wavelength. Hence the energy is not there. We have both the nano Revlite- C6 and the Picosure 532, and for reds, yes, its back to older tech. Cynosure should have a power upgrade.
