Laser burns from IPL - how can I treat this? (Photo)

I was burned from IPL laser 3 months ago. I have hypopigmentation now and I don’t know what to do. Everyone I have gone to tells me different things. Some say to wait it out and it’ll repigment in 6 months to a year. Some tell me to do Microneedling and chemical peels or IPL to even out my skin tone. Some tell me to do no treatments on it and then I have heard where slowly and safely exposing it to sun will help it. What should I do?

Aerolase is a medical laser that can help treat burns from other lasers. When dealing with hypopigmentation, you may want to combine Aerolase with a peptide therapy called Melanotan 2 which can bring pigment back to this skin.

All of those options are feasible. With sunscreen the pigment will likely return and even out. If you do not wish to wait that long, you can goto an experienced provider and treat the area over with IPL which in the right hands should even out the tone properly. Thankfully this isn’t likely a permanent issue!
